Yet in practice, it often remains difficult to truly steer on that information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maintenance is still frequently reactive. Reporting is often backward-looking. And investment decisions are often made based on fragmented insights, assumptions or a lack of connection between technical performance, operations and long-term real estate strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My conviction is that data-driven real estate does not start with dashboards, AI or isolated technology initiatives. It starts with making maintenance and asset management progressively more steerable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In my current role, I am closely involved in helping shape the transition toward data-driven maintenance and asset management as a more structural way of working. That is also why I believe this movement can be translated in a practical and controlled way to real estate users, owners and portfolio-driven organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not by trying to change everything at once, but by starting small.
